Rules and Policies
The 7th International Conference on Economics and Business Studies (ICOEBS) 2025 will be conducted in a hybrid format (online and offline). Tmaintain the professionalism and smooth execution of the conference, all participants are expected tadhere tthe following rules:
For All Participants (Online & Offline)
1. Dress Code:
- Smart-casual attire is required for all presenters and participants.
Example: long/short sleeve shirt, blazer (optional), neat appearance.
2. Punctuality & Attendance:
- Participants must join or arrive at the session at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start.
- All presenters are required tattend the Opening Ceremony, Parallel Sessions, and Closing Ceremony tbe eligible for a certificate.
3. Language:
- All presentations and discussions must be conducted in English.
SPECIFIC RULES - OFFLINE PARTICIPANTS
1. Venue Etiquette:
- Participants must arrive punctually and follow the instructions of on-site committee members.
- Respect the session schedule and maintain order during Q&A.
2. Certificate Eligibility:
- Certificate of attendance or presentation will only be given tparticipants whattend the entire event, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
3. Session Registration:
- All offline participants must sign an on-site attendance list for each session.
SPECIFIC RULES - ONLINE PARTICIPANTS
1. Zoom Naming Format:
Rename your Zoom display name using this format:
ID_Track Number_Full Name (e.g., 124_Track 1_Andika Rizki).
2. Videand Background:
- Presenters must turn on their video during the presentation.
- Use the official virtual background provided by the committee.
3. Proof of Attendance:
You are required tsubmit a screenshot showing:
- The Zoom screen with your face visible,
- The presentation material or speaker,
- And your name as proof of active participation.
4. Attendance Report:
Fill in the attendance form provided during the event.
5. Monitoring for Certificate Eligibility:
The committee may check attendance at any time during sessions tensure compliance with certification requirements.
PRESENTATION RULES (ALL FORMATS)
1. Session Management:
- Each parallel session is led by a Session Chair, assisted by a moderator and timekeeper.
2. Presentation Time:
- Each presenter has 15 minutes, including Q&A.
- The Session Chair has the right to stop the presentation if the time limit is exceeded.
3. Technical Requirements (Online):
- Use a laptop/computer with a stable internet connection.
- Choose a quiet, well-lit environment tavoid disturbances.
- Test your audio, video, screen sharing, and background in advance.
- A practice session is available on request for those unfamiliar with Zoom.
ICOEBS 2025 REFUND POLICY
To maintain transparency and administrative efficiency, the following refund policy applies:
1. No Refund for Sudden Withdrawal:
Participants who withdraw after registration or fail to attend without prior notice are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
2. Responsibility tMonitor Announcements:
Participants are responsible for regularly checking emails and announcements regarding schedules, revisions, and requirements.
3. Adherence to Procedures:
By registering, participants agree to follow all conference procedures, including submission guidelines, attendance protocols, and deadlines.
By participating in ICOEBS 2025, all attendees and presenters acknowledge and accept these rules and commit tensuring a professional, respectful, and successful conference experience.
