Introduction

The 5th International Conference on Education Innovation and Social Science (ICEISS) 2026 is organized by the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia. This online conference will be held on 20 August 2026 with the theme "Resilient Education Systems and Adaptive Societies in The Age of Artificial Intelligence and Global Uncertainty". The aim of the conference is to produce innovative ideas in strengthening the education system in the era of AI and global uncertainty. Thus, the development of resilient education systems and adaptive societies is expected to be able to be a solution in dealing with global dynamics while encouraging the nation's progress in a sustainable manner
